Welcome to Deductible Defender — the protection plan that covers your qualifying auto and/or home insurance deductible when a covered loss occurs.

By purchasing and/or using Deductible Defender (the “Plan”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

  1. Coverage Overview

Deductible Defender is a limited benefit product that reimburses you, the Plan holder, for your out-of-pocket deductible expenses up to the maximum benefit amount listed in your coverage documents.

Covered deductibles may include:

  • Your auto insurance deductible for a covered collision or comprehensive loss
  • Your home insurance deductible for a covered loss due to fire, water damage, natural disaster, or other eligible perils

Coverage applies only to losses covered by your underlying insurance policy.

  1. Eligibility

To be eligible for reimbursement, you must:

  • Be an active Deductible Defender Plan holder at the time of the incident
  • Hold an active auto or home insurance policy with deductible liability
  • File a claim through your primary insurance carrier
  • Provide proof of deductible payment and insurance claim approval
  • Submit a completed Deductible Defender claim form within 60 days of the date of loss

  1. Benefit Limits

Each Plan covers up to the following:

  • Auto Deductible: Up to $1,000 per claim, with a maximum of 2 claims per 12-month period
  • Home Deductible: Up to $2,500 per claim, with a maximum of 1 claim per 12-month period

Maximum benefit limits may vary based on your specific plan tier. See your product agreement or enrollment form for full details.

  1. Exclusions

Deductible Defender does not cover:

  • Losses not covered by your primary insurance carrier
  • Deductibles waived or reimbursed by another party (e.g., the at-fault driver’s insurance)
  • Mechanical breakdowns, routine maintenance, or cosmetic damage
  • Intentional damage, fraud, or misrepresentation
  • Claims not submitted within the required timeframe

  1. Filing a Claim

To initiate a deductible reimbursement request, you must submit:

  • A completed Deductible Defender claim form
  • Proof of insurance carrier approval and deductible payment
  • Any additional documentation requested by the Claims Administrator

Claims are typically processed within 7–10 business days of receipt of all required documentation. Reimbursement is issued via check or direct deposit.

  1. Term, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Your Plan is effective beginning on the date of purchase and continues for the term specified in your agreement (e.g., 12, 24, or 36 months).

You may cancel your Plan within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no claims have been filed. After 30 days, pro-rated refunds may be available based on state regulations.

Deductible Defender reserves the right to cancel your coverage in the event of non-payment, fraud, or material misrepresentation.

  1. Limitations of Liability

Deductible Defender is not an insurance company and does not replace or alter your existing auto or home insurance policy. We provide reimbursement for eligible deductibles only. Total liability under this Plan shall not exceed the benefit limits described above.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which the Plan was purchased.
